A Random Shoot with Surfer, Ben
The Brief
Whilst spending a camping weekend on the beaches of North Devon I managed to talk a friend into doing a shoot after he had been surfing as I always have a camera with me just incase an opportunity like this one crops up.
Delivery
I wanted a retro look to these images so I used a preset that I had made which adds grain and warmer tones to the image. I had an older camera with me, the trusty old Nikon D700 which still has amazing capabilities for a fifteen year old camera and an old travel lens that has all the range for multiple focal lengths. Ben was a bit reluctant at first but soon got the hang of it and did a cracking job with the exact look that I was after.
