Event Photography for the Thirsty Work Academy Graduates Awards
The Brief
Thirsty Work, the number one water dispenser providers for the UK, contacted me to photograph an internal company event, documenting their Academy Graduates Awards programme, from the various speakers, speeches and presentations to informal documentary style shots of everyone enjoying themselves.
Delivery
I discreetly photographed the day in a candid style, making an effort not to distract the speakers or detract from the presentations. Blending into the background and capturing natural expressions in a documentary style is my favourite form of photography, as it allows me to really represent the atmosphere of an event through my photos.
The Results
I always provide my clients with two sets of images - both in colour and black and white. For this particular project, I love the documentary, reportage style of the black and white images, although the client received the photos in colour too.
